direct release system

How it works: In a direct release system, the inhibitor will enter directly through a hole in the tube.

Common Applications: Direct release systems are recommended for electrical panel and server rack protection.

Main advantage: The direct release system is ideal for protecting against electrical hazards because it does not rely on any metal components installed within the electrical enclosure. Metal parts, like nozzles, can cause arc faults, which can actually increase your fire risk. The risk of fire is reduced as the direct release system relies entirely on pipes of plastic material.

indirect release system

How it works: Indirect release is when the tube acts as a detection device and through pressure changes tells the system to discharge the agent through other tubes and nozzles.

Common Applications: Indirect release systems are commonly used in vehicles and CNC machines.

Key Benefits: The NOAH indirect release system has been independently tested and evaluated by leading product performance testing agencies. They are UL Listed and FM Approved. Third-party testing ensures products consistently perform as expected and can withstand environmental challenges such as temperature changes. Local and national fire codes, including those issued by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), generally recommend the use of UL or FM approved systems.
