Noah®5112 (FK-5-1-12, Perfluoro (2-methyl-3-pentanone)) is a fast and environmentally fire suppression clean agent used in critical risk and enclosed areas including telecoms enclosures, computer rooms and datacentres. The system using Noah®5112 (FK-5-1-12, Perfluoro (2-methyl-3-pentanone)) is approved for use in normally occupied areas.
Noah®5112 (FK-5-1-12, Perfluoro (2-methyl-3-pentanone)) is stored under pressure as a liquid with nitrogen as the propellant gas and is discharged when active by a fire through the piping network in the protected room or area. The discharge time is under 30seconds.
Noah®5112 (FK-5-1-12, Perfluoro (2-methyl-3-pentanone)) extinguishes fires by heat absorption and a chemical reaction at the flame front. The agent is non-conductive and non-corrosive and has no Ozone Depleting Potential, with a global warming rating of 1 and no impact on climate change.
