At normal temperature, Noah®5112 (FK-5-1-12) fire extinguishant is colorless, transparent and insulating liquid. it is the novel environmental harmonic and clean extinguishing agent. Noah5112 is listed in standard documents such as ISO14520-2006 Physical Characteristics of Gas Extinguishing System, the System Design, NFPA2001 Design Specification of Clean Gas Extinguishing System, and the application-design of the product is normatively described.
Noah®5112 (FK-5-1-12) fire extinguishant is a novel substitution of halon extinguishing agent. It helps engineers and facility managers meet environmental regulations while helping ensure the safety of people, reduce risks and preserve business operations with minimal downtime. It features zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) and a global warming potential (GWP) of less than 1. FK-5-1-12 also has the largest safety margin for use in occupied spaces of all clean agents. It effectively extinguishes fire faster than inert gas or water mist systems, requires less volume of fluid and is safe for use with electronics.

◆Advantages of fire extinguishing systems using Noah®5112
1. Complete safety for people and valuables
Noah®5112 is a non-toxic and chemically neutral agent. The oxygen content in the air is not decreased as a result of gas release into a protected room. Effective heat absorption reduces a potential exposure level of toxic combustion products to people.
2. Does not conduct electricity
Noah®5112 is a dielectric. Electronic devices completely filled of submerged with/into this agent continue to operate without any impact. Unlike any other extinguishing agents, this safety gas does not harm sensitive electronics and leaves no residue on it.
3. Does not damage property
You can put books, pictures, fine fabrics and electronic devices even into liquid Noah®5112 without any risk of damaging them. Use of gas phase in much lower concentrations guarantees complete safety against damage by the fire-extinguishing agent for libraries, museums, data centers, etc. after a fire extinguishing system has been activated.
4. Easer and lower cost maintenance
Existing pipelines, initially designed for HFCs 125 or 227ea, may be retrofitted to be used with Noah®5112. Due to a relatively low pressure in fire extinguishing systems, in most cases, the installation of the overpressure relief dampers is not required. It is also possible to refill gas fire extinguishing modules directly at site. Liquid can be transported without any restrictions.
5. Environmentally safe
GWP of Noah®5112 is only 1 (one), lifetime of molecules of fluorinated ketone in the atmosphere is less than 5 days. Noah®5112 is not harmful to the ozone layer.
