◆ What is the difference between HFC-227ea and Noah®5112?
Noah®5112 and HFC-227ea are different compounds. Noah®5112 is a fluoroketone and HFC-227ea is a heptafluoropropane (HFC). Both Noah® 5112 and HFC-227ea are cleaners with similar properties. However, Noah® 5112 is widely considered to be more environmentally friendly than HFC-227ea due to its lower global warming potential (GWP). Additionally, Noah® 5112 is stored in liquid form, while HFC-227ea is stored in gaseous form.
Both Noah®5112 and HFC-227ea are emitted as gases when the fire suppression system is activated. Both Noah® 5112 and HFC-227ea are effective in suppressing Class A, B and C fires, and they are both safe to use in occupied spaces.
