The breakdown voltage of Noah®5112 fluid vapor under saturated conditions at 1 atm, 21⁰C over a 2.7 mm electrode gap is 15.6kV, nearly 2.3 times that of dry nitrogen.

Noah®5112’s chemical name is Perfluoro (2-methyl-3-pentanone), CAS No.: 756-13-8, chemical index FK-5- 1-12, molecular formula C6F12O. FK-5-1-12 was firstly used as extinguishant in USA in 2001. It was named one of the best inventions by “TIME” in 2004. It was regarded as a fire extinguishing agent that can completely replace halon and can be used for a long-term base.
